ROO NATION

Get in-state tuition no matter which state you call home. The Roo Nation Award covers the difference of nonresident tuition for students coming to UMKC from anywhere outside of Missouri and Kansas. Who qualifies? Domestic first-time college students who graduated with a 3.0+ core GPA and domestic income transfer students with a 3.0+ transferable GPA.

KANSAS RATE

All Kansas residents qualify for in-state undergraduate tuition and some qualify for reduced graduate tuition.*

Simplified Tuition

Starting in Fall 2023, students and families will be able to estimate the cost of tuition and fees more accurately and more easily understand their bill. The majority of our students receive funding for school in the form of grants, loans, work-study and Federal Student Aid. UMKC spends $10 million annually on student employment with part-time jobs both on and off campus.
