**Royalties and sponsorships received from these programs and services offered by the UMKC Alumni Association constitute an important source of funds that go to support programs and activities of the Association including the raising of financial support for immediate aid and endowment scholarships for current UMKC students.
UMKC Alumni Association Membership Opportunities
General Members
All graduates of UMKC are automatically considered members of the UMKC Alumni Association. There are no annual dues, but you are invited to participate financially by supporting the UMKC Alumni Fund at any amount.
Contributing Members
Become a Contributing Member of the UMKC Alumni Association by contributing to the UMKC Alumni Fund or by donating to any scholarship, school or program at UMKC in an amount of $50.00 or more per year.
Not only will you assist current students and programs, but you will also be able to enjoy additional benefits in addition to what is already offered to you for being a graduate.
Lifetime Members
For the ultimate gift of support, consider a Lifetime Membership. Your $1,000 donation helps fund an endowment that supports the activities of the Alumni Association.
Lifetime Members automatically receive all contributing member benefits in perpetuity and have their names recorded on our virtual honor wall.

University-wide Volunteer Opportunities
UMKC is proud to have more than 60 constituent organizations working on its behalf. If you have an interest in serving on an advisory board, joining a committee or volunteering in support of an academic unit, contact us and our staff will be happy to match you to a meaningful volunteer opportunity at UMKC.
Multicultural and Community Affairs Committee
The alumni Multicultural and Community Affairs (MCA) Committee meets quarterly and creates and participates in UMKC functions with a goal to support multicultural students and alumni.
Black Alumni Alliance
The Black Alumni Alliance (BAA) meets once a quarter and is eager to engage with Black alumni to discuss our experiences and time at UMKC and how the Alumni Association and BAA can connect and best serve this community.
Young Alumni Committee
The mission of the Young Alumni Committee is to serve as a conduit for current UMKC students and to engage young alumni in meaningful and strategic ways so that all are provided a lifetime link to the university and can assist in achieving its potential.

UMKC Professional Career Escalators is an exciting new program that is open to any major program that connects students to career and academic guidance from day one, helping them pay for school and steering them toward a clear path for a bright future.
