With each passing year, I am bowled over by the progress UMKC is making in delivering excellence in education, research, and public service to as many students and community members as possible. I am incredibly proud to be part of a university that provides a pathway for anyone, regardless of their circumstances, to make extraordinary contributions to the future of Kansas City and the world beyond. I am also proud to stand with you as a donor to UMKC. We are part of an extraordinary community of alumni and friends who are an engine of growth, innovation, and hope for UMKC. We are deeply grateful for your generosity and belief in the future our students will create for all of us.
The 2023-2024 academic year brought so much great news that there is not enough room on this page to list it all. From increases in scholarships and expanding student success programming to new degree programs and enrollment growth among first-generation college students, UMKC is making incredible steps forward. Your collaboration is the reason we are able to do this.
As we look at the year ahead, we are thankful for your investment in UMKC and your belief that a great city deserves a great public university — that our students are full of transformational possibility.
